Juhannus, also Mittsommer, verlief ganz unspektakulär.
Juhannus wasn't very spectacular. I enjoyed the longer weekend, used the time for cleaning and working. And when it was raining, I watched a lot of movies and when it was sunny, I went to the Sauna and relaxed on my balcony-paradise. Not so bad, not so bad. :)
The only disturbing thing was that Stöpsel - again - went on a little adventure with neighbour's Mimmi. She is currently in heat and thus all the more interesting for my boys. Luckily, Charlie doesn't have so many hormones - his brain is still functional when Mimmi's around. But Stöpseli, but Stöpseli... whenever he has her butt in front of him, he doesn't see or hear anything anymore. Especially not me. It's been the second time, that Stöpsel and Mimmi suddenly decided to run away together. From one second to another they both just disappear into the forest. Their nonverbal communication with each other would be rather impressive, if it wouldn't be so annoying...
I've learned by now that there is not much sense in trying to find them in the forest - it's impossible - and that they will come home on their own - precisely after 3 hours.
However, no one wants to see a Stöpsel-Mimmi crossbreed, so Mimmi is now chained in the yard and Stöpsel can admire her only from the balcony or when being on a leash...
P.S. Over Juhannus, a German car parked on the yawn behind the local school. I wondered why they chose this spot, but even more I liked their camping trailer! Something like that would be nice to have for me and the boys... :-)
