Today, I received a letter from the Finnish pension insurance fund.
Bye, bye youth! Hello middle age! :-D
The letter didn't state any date, when my retirement would start, but a listing of my earnings in Finland so far, and the thus resulting pension claim (for me to verify) - which was all the more depressing (though no news at all).
244 Euro / month will I get "from Finland" in my old days. Woohoo!
I better start saving for that one last plane ticket that will bring me to a warm country with low living costs, where I can happily spend the evening of my life - in a tent. ;-) But as long as Charlie & Stöpsel accompany me (they'll never get old...), future still looks rather bright! :-D
